NEWS: Tankers fall along Lagos-Ibadan expressway, stirs gridlock

Reports suggest that a tanker in the early hours of Thursday, April 7, collided with a truck conveying diesel at Aseese in Ogun state with fuel gushing out from the petrol tanker. 

The incident is reported to have led to the grounding of both sides of the Lagos – Ibadan expressway.

 Daily Post reports that many motorists and petrol tankers are stuck in the gridlock as soldiers, policemen, road-safety and fire officials are currently diverting vehicles from the expressway to bush paths to avoid casualties.
