NEWS: Stranger kidnaps child by holding chloroform to boy's face but no-one steps in

The young boy was dragged kicking and screaming from the street in this disturbing social experiment



This disturbing video of a child getting kidnapped off the street is even more worrying because of the actions of those witnessing the abductions.

Although many people are shocked as the young boy is dragged away kicking and screaming by a stranger, not one chases the man, shouts at him or calls the police.

As the footage shows the man ran up behind the child, put a cloth pretending to be covered in chloroform to his mouth, and picked him up.

The boy cries out and can be seen kicking and screaming in front of various witnesses.

Many stood their open-mouthed, others carried on as if it were normal and one woman even laughed.

The experiment was carried out in China by vlogger Dapeng aimed at highlighting the problem of missing children in the country.


He says in the video that more than 200,000 children go missing in the country each year, with only one per cent ever found.

He says: "Your child may be the next kidnapped person.

"Make sure you do something about it when you face something that doesn't seem right.


"You can change a child's lifetime."
