Marquez targeting another victory in Malaysia

Having gotten back to winning ways at the Australian MotoGP this past weekend, Marc Marquez is aiming to do the same in this weekend's penultimate round of the championship at Sepang.

The Spaniard rode his Repsol Honda to victory at Phillip Island on Sunday, pouncing on the final lap to leave Jorge Lorenzo trailing in his wake.

Currently third in the standings, Marquez' fortunes in the coming races could have a big impact on the title race between Movistar Yamaha team-mates Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi.

“After a wonderful victory in Australia we are on our way to Malaysia and hoping to continue this good run for Honda, and end the season on a high,” Marquez said.

“We do a lot of testing at Sepang and it's a circuit I enjoy and where our bike tends to work well.
“As always, getting the best setup is key especially in the braking so we will have to work hard on Friday and Saturday to prepare for the race.”
